Corrections and removal
A house that shows its own retractions can be trusted with the rest. This page says how to ask for a correction or a removal, what we will do, and how long it takes.
How to ask
Write to intel@stonysintelligence.com with the dossier reference or page address, the figure or statement concerned, and what you believe is correct. If you are writing for a vessel, a house or a person, say in what capacity.
What we will do
- Acknowledge within two working days and answer within ten.
- Errors. A figure that does not match the page it cites on the date it cites is corrected, and the correction is recorded in the register on the methodology page with its date. The register is permanent; corrections are never silent.
- Personal data. A person's name or contact detail that has entered the record is removed on request, without needing a reason.
- Published asking rates. A figure that is accurately read from a public page on a dated capture is a fact about what the market published. We do not remove such a figure because it is unwelcome; we will add the publisher's statement beside it if the publisher asks, and we always show the date and the source.
- Withdrawn pages. When a cited page is withdrawn, the figure stays in the record with its date and the citation is marked as withdrawn; the record is longitudinal by design.
- Opt-out of collection. A publisher that does not want its pages read by our monitoring may say so by email or in its robots file; our collection honours the Robots Exclusion Protocol and identifies itself as
StonysIntelligence/1.0. An opt-out stops future reading of that publisher's pages; figures already in the record remain, dated and attributed.
What we never publish, whatever is asked
Owner identities, the legal names of owning entities, achieved transaction prices, and any grade or ranking of a broker, agent or firm. A request to publish any of these is declined. Dated 23 October 2026.
